Cognitive Rehabilitation

Life after a brain injury, stroke, or cognitive decline can make once-simple tasks feel overwhelming. Cognitive rehabilitation focuses on strengthening memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive function.

For many adults, this also means working on return-to-work skills—so communication, focus, and independence become part of daily routines again.

Swallowing Disorders

Swallowing difficulties, known as dysphagia, can affect safety, nutrition, and quality of life. Therapy begins with a thorough swallow evaluation and continues with exercises that build strength and strategies that make meals more enjoyable and less stressful.

Families are included in the process so support feels natural at home.

Speech and Language Therapy

After illness or injury, expressing yourself clearly or understanding others can be a daily frustration. Speech and language therapy at SpeechLink addresses challenges like aphasia, word-finding, and articulation.

The goal is not just accuracy, but restoring confidence and joy in conversation—whether with loved ones, coworkers, or friends.

Voice Therapy

Your voice carries your personality, and when it changes, it can feel like losing a part of yourself. Voice therapy helps restore strength, clarity, and control. Techniques such as LSVT LOUD® are available for clients with Parkinson’s disease, while others benefit from tailored breath and vocal exercises.

Each plan is designed to help you feel comfortable and authentic when you speak.

Motor Speech Disorders

Conditions like apraxia or dysarthria can make speech sound halting or unclear. Therapy builds rhythm, pacing, and articulation so speech flows more naturally.

Sessions often include partner training, because better communication at home makes daily life smoother and more connected.
